College of the Mainland is located within Texas City and has branch classrooms. College of the Mainland is a learning-centered, comprehensive community college dedicated to student success and the intellectual and economic prosperity of the diverse communities it serves. Currently, there is enrolled approximately 4,000 credit and 10,000 continuing education students who are already pursuing degree and career-related education. Credits earned in its Associate in Arts core transfer to all public Texas universities.
