Federal Assistance

The federal government has a few programs to assist private businesses. Through the office of Economic Development Administration (EDA) it offers grants; through the U.S. Customs office it offers a Foreign Trade Zone (F.T.Z.) to encourage commerce in the U.S. with foreign commodities or products; and through the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) it offers technical assistance to any business (does not have to be space related industry) to solve problems.
