Galveston County Small Business Development Center
The GC SBDC is a business consulting and training center of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network. The University of Houston SBDC Network is a program of the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business and a resource partner of the US Small Business Administration. SBDCs are a program supported by the US SBA and extended to the public. The GC SBDC provides a variety of resources including applications and application assistance for Small Business Administration loans, counseling services, various training for the small business, guidance into starting a new business or guidance to an existing business in a variety of fields. The GC SBDC's connection with the Galveston County Economic Development Alliance, University of Houston, and Texas City has made it a valuable resource to small businesses.
