Upon completion of the building project, the plans review section performs an on-site inspection to insure that the project was completed according to approved plans that were submitted to the Texas City Fire Department.
Additionally the plans review section reviews all plans for fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, hood extinguishing systems, preliminary site plans, accessibility for fire department apparatus, fire flow requirements on new building hydrant systems, and the placement of new fire hydrants for TCFD's use. Upon approval construction permits will be issued.
