Public Education seeks to reduce fire losses (i.e. lives and property) from
the dangers of accidental fire through fire prevention and fire response
procedures education.

Safety/Inspections - Inspectors
conduct numerous inspections of public occupancies to assess overall
safety and potential hazards. They use their expertise in inspections
and code enforcement to assist local businesses in correcting life
safety hazards.
Required inspection include, but not limited to: Certificate of Occupancy,
Permit Inspection, Foster Care Inspection, Annual Inspection, Complaint Inspection,
Sprinkler System Acceptance, Fire Alarm Acceptance.
