Nessler Center Preschool
(2010 5th Avenue North)
Curriculum: Nessler Preschool strives to provide a positive program to help prepare your child for kindergarten. We place special emphasis on promoting self-esteem, listening and following directions, using good manners, and interacting well with other children, and developing motor skills.
Each six weeks session is based on unit studies of colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet. Other units of study include, the five senses, nursery rhymes, the study of animals, community helpers, health and safety, and seasonal and holiday related projects. Basic computer skills, arts and crafts, music, books, and exercise programs are incorporated into each class day.
Nessler Preschool staff will make every attempt to work with any discipline problems that may arise. However, we reserve the right to release a child from the program without refund if behavior problems should persist.
Please feel free to call at any time with questions, concerns, and suggestions. Nessler Preschool program staff can be reached at 409-949-3027 or contact the Recreation and Tourism office at 409-643-5990.
