We've been getting a lot of questions about curfews and other information that is needed to perform essential tasks around town.

  • The City of Texas City is NOT adding or enforcing a curfew, other than
the juvenile curfew that is already in place that states persons 16 years of age or younger need to be home by 11:30pm, 7 days a week.
  • You can travel within the city to perform essential tasks without the use of special placards or notices stating that you are an essential employee.

The Texas City Dike will remain open with no entrance fee needed. Simply practice the 6ft social distancing rule.

Remember to use official information from us or our other trusted partners, wash your hands and stay safe.
