A Message from the Range Master

 "Hey Skeet Shooter,

Hey Skeet shooter, it's time to get your shotguns out and get the rust off them. Andre and myself are getting the 5 Stand Individual (A/B/C & D Divisions ) Skeet League (Level 2) started at the Texas City Municipal Shooting Range starting Wednesday April 5, 2017 ending the Sunday May 28,2017...

Please get signed up and let anyone else know about the league, looking forward to a great League. Also keep in mined that daylight savings (March 15th) is in effect at the start of league, which means that on Wednesday's and Thursday's we will have different hours to help all the ones that work until 4:00 or so. The hours will be from 12:00 noon til 7:30pm (no round will start after 7:00p.m. last shot fired will be at 7:30p.m.) - Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be 9:00a.m. til 4:30p.m. (no round will start after 4:00p.m. last shot fired will be at 4:30p.m.) So get out the shotguns and oil them up so we can have fun busting a few clay targets. If you have any questions feel free to contact Andre or myself anytime.....Note: If you have contact information to anyone that might be interested in joining the league please call us the info or send them by the range to pickup a copy of the rules and a sign-up form, waiting to hear from you....Thanks!

NOTE: Your six (6) Hdcp rounds will be shot before April 5,2017 / 5 Stand Individual League Start Date ...Still not to late to sign up for Our Skeet Team League and get your hdcp rounds in before May 31,2017 - start date (ending date July 23,2017 - 8 weeks) for our Skeet Team League.So come in (Individual or Team) and get started. Let's bust a few clay's!!!"

The Texas City Municipal Shooting Range is an all-weather range with 28 shooting stations for all legal caliber rifles and 23 stations for hand guns.
Targets
  • RIFLE / 25 - 50 - 100 yards
  • PISTOL / 3 - 7 - 15 - 25 yards

Two regulation skeet fields, one trap field and one 5 Stand field. The Range offers soft drinks for your comfort. Targets, ear plugs, and safety glasses are also available.

Concealed Handgun Certification (C.H.L.) is offered by the Range.

Driving directions
Houston via I-45 South:
Take exit 16 (Emmett F. Lowry Expressway). Follow 9 miles to Bay Street (dead ends). Turn left on Bay Street and go 2 miles (Bay Street forks 1 mile to right; stay right) to entrance, turn left into shooting range.
Baytown, Kemah, etc. via Highway 146M:
Take exit for Hwy 1764 (Palmer), turn left at traffic light. Follow 3.5 miles to Bay Street (dead ends). Turn left on Bay Street and go 2 miles (Bay Street forks 1 mile to right; stay right) to entrance, turn left into shooting range.
Galveston via I-45 North:
Take exit 7A (Texas City — Hwy 146 / Hwy 3) and veer to right on Loop 197. Continue following until you curve back to the left onto 6th Street. Follow to 9th Avenue North, turn right at traffic light, and follow to Bay Street (dead ends). Turn left on Bay Street and go 2 miles (Bay Street forks 1 mile to right; stay right) to entrance, turn left into shooting range.
